About SmoothieWarrior

SmoothieWarrior began regularly incorporating healthy smoothies into his diet in 2019. Though relatively new to the smoothie game, SmoothieWarrior has always been interested and dedicated to personal health in the realms of fitness and diet. SmoothieWarrior regularly researches the food and supplements that go into his body to ensure that he knows the benefits and setbacks that food will have before they are ingested. SmoothieWarrior’s general diet can be best described as heavily influenced by whole food plant-based with an occasional drift into the standard American diet including meat consumption. Since incorporating healthy smoothies into his diet Smoothie Warrior has lost weight, gained lean muscle, and has improved energy levels to wonderful highs throughout the day.

SmoothieWarrior is a family man with 2 awesome young kids and a wife. I enjoy bringing my family along with me and giving my kids a foundation in understanding nutrition. My kids enjoy smoothies and help me make smoothies that they often have or snacks and breakfast. The time spent making smoothies together allows me to explain nutrition and the benefits of fruits and vegetables that I hope they will take with them into adulthood

One of my specializations is in Lean Management, which is the relentless pursuit of waste removal in business processes. I use many Lean Management skills and project management tools to tackle nutrition and healthy smoothie making. I try to share some of these tips and thought processes in my writing.

Thank you for checking out my site and I hope you enjoy it!

SmoothieWarriors Origin Story

In 2019 SmoothieWarrior was looking for a way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into his diet while following his general diet guidelines around whole food plant-based methodologies. I’m also a creature of habit and was looking for something that I could have a regular breakfast. After much research and consideration smoothies rose to the top as a great option to fulfill what I was looking for that worked with my diet and need for a regular breakfast.

I began experimenting with different ingredients and methods or making smoothies and found smoothies to be nutritious and tasty.

My first blender was a Nutribullet Pro 900-watt personal blender. I experimented with many recipes and ingredients and was able to find the right combos for me to make smoothies a daily habit. Currently, my daily routine is to work out shortly after waking up, have a smoothie post-workout, and another smoothie later in the day if I need a snack or use one as a meal replacement.

Since starting down the smoothie warrior path I’ve seen excellent progression in overall health. I’ve been able to experiment with many ingredients, supplements, and equipment to make the smoothies that fit my needs best. I started this blog as a means to share what I’ve learned and to help myself fully research the best ingredients, recipes, and equipment to make smoothies.

SmoothieWarrior’s Favorite Smoothie

My current favorite smoothie is The Daily SmoothieWarrior Smoothie. I experimented over months and fell on this recipe as my current smoothie that I drink nearly every day in the morning. I find this smoothie both tasty and re-energizing after an intermittent fast and or workout. Here is an article dedicated to my current favorite smoothie:

The Smoothie Warrior Daily Smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1.5 cups of chilled coconut milk
  • 2 handfuls or cups of fresh spinach and kale mix
  • 1 large handful of frozen mixed fruit (I like to use pineapple, strawberries, peaches, and mango)
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder
  • 1 teaspoon of raw chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of goji berries
  • 1 teaspoon of flax seeds

SmoothieWarrior’s Current Blender

My current blender is a Vitamix Explorian E320 with personal cups and attachments. This was my first foray into a high power expensive blender. I purchased the blender at Costco as a package with the personal cups and blender attachment. It’s been a great investment in my health and I’ve been happy with its performance thus far.
